Launched in 2025 and headquartered in Mumbai, Jio BLAST is assembling a passionate, ambitious, and creative team. This is your opportunity to be part of shaping BLAST’s vision for esports in India. 

This role will be the driving force in defining the esports IPs, tournaments and products that we create. You will lead the IP Development team, turning bold new ideas into tangible competitive entertainment products. We have big ambitions ranging from highly competitive core esports to celebrity based competitive entertainment. Jio BLAST will bring creativity, flexibility and entertainment to the market and this person will embody that.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with publishers to build partnerships to operate their esports ecosystems 
• Create and pitch new formats and concepts to brands, publishers and broadcasters that extend beyond what esports is today
• Identify whitespace in the esports and gaming market and help validate new concepts using market intel and understanding of the fan base
• Own the deal process: outreach → relationship → pitch → close → handover 
• Work closely with BLAST’s global teams in London, New York and Copenhagen to build opportunities together 
• Collaborate with Production & Broadcast Teams to ensure IPs are designed with world-class execution in mind.
• Manage a growing IP Development team over time

Requirements

• Deep understanding of and passion for India's gaming and esports landscape; you know the games, the players, the platforms, and the cultural nuances that matter - and how they’re evolving.
• Creative thinker and problem solver - we want to bring new esports, gaming and competitive entertainment properties to the market that create value for publishers and brands
• Understanding of and interest in competitive formats and their commercial impact
• You know how to close deals - not just ideate - and can navigate the full commercial process from pitch to close.
• You are a fluent communicator and experienced presenter, comfortable pitching to senior stakeholders and building pitch materials
• Track record in BD, consulting or similar roles where you have worked successfully with clients to achieve a common goal
• Network and credibility with game publishers and the esports/gaming industry (preferred)
• Leader and able to build a growing team
