Job Description

As the Vizrt Graphics Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery and technical quality of Vizrt graphics professional services. You will lead and mentor a team of professional services engineers, act as the primary technical escalation point, and ensure customer implementations are reliable, high-quality, and aligned with customer requirements. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between customers and the Vizrt's product and engineering teams, driving issue resolution and enabling successful, on-time delivery of Vizrt graphics workflows.

This position requires prior both experiences delivering Vizrt graphics solutions and leading teams. Candidates must have both hands-on Vizrt graphics engineering expertise and team leadership experience to be considered.

  • Lead and develop the team by providing mentorship, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
  • Serve as customer-facing subject matter expert, ensuring the application of best practices throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Oversee successful project delivery ensuring workflow implementations, delivered on time, within scope, and at high quality
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design and configuration details, operational procedures, knowledge transfer materials, and post-implementation reports.
  • Provide technical leadership and governance by guiding architecture decisions, enforcing best practices, and maintaining security and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with Vizrt Product team, R&D, Sales, and Customer Success to stay aligned on new features, share field feedback, and drive best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies during deployment processes.

Tasks and Duties

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple products and integrations.
  • Review and approve technical designs, configurations, and integrations to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Collect and share enhanced knowledge and customer feedback to support continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
  • Assist in project scope development, including effort and expected project life cycle estimation.
  • Communication – internal and external, such as project status updates, issue remediation and internal product/issue escalation.
  • Analyse and comprehend product changes and new features introduced in Vizrt software releases, even during high workload periods, to effectively communicate updates and their impact to customers.

Reporting line

Reports directly to a Project Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering or a similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience as team lead working in a Vizrt production environment, with a focus on virtual studios or on-air graphics.
  • Proven experience writing technical documentation including system architecture design, project scope, post implementation and system handover documentation.
  • Proven advanced experience of one or more Vizrt software products, advanced deployment, configuration, and integration.
