As a Level I Technical Lead at Vizrt, you'll spearhead diverse software deployment projects, lending your unique industry knowledge and in-field experience to drive success. Your strong technical understanding of Vizrt software products will allow you to effectively troubleshoot, design, and develop tailored systems integrations.

The Technical Lead serves as a pivotal escalation point for technical issues and a consultant for best practices. Direct interaction with clients, partners, and various internal teams is a crucial part of this role.

• Lead deployment and configuration of Vizrt products and systems across different projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in workflows across multiple products and integrations.
• Act as an escalation point for technical issues during project delivery.
• Consult with other teams and departments on best practices.

Tasks and Duties

• Conduct design and development of custom modules and code using REST APIs and web technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple products and integrations.
• Document project-related activities, code, and configurations.
• Act as a mentor to junior engineers.

Reporting line

Reports directly to a Project Manager, Project Delivery Manager or Technical Solutions Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a similar field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of broadcast and modern computer graphics technologies like OpenGL, Unreal Engine, Viz Engine, and/or video streaming.
• 5+ years of system engineering experience working in a broadcast IT or enterprise software environment, with a focus on virtual studios or on-air graphics.
• Proven advanced experience of one or more Vizrt software products, advanced deployment, configuration, and integration.
• Experience in designing and developing custom modules and code using REST APIs and web technologies.
• Awareness of market trends, competitors, and industry regulations and standards.
• Hands-on experience in the field, with a credible demeanour when discussing technical topics with clients and partners.
