The Role As a Senior Product Manager working on the core Sports App, you will be responsible for defining roadmaps and execution plans across key projects, partnering with engineers and designers to deliver measurable results. You’ll scope and prioritize initiatives that make following games, teams, and leagues in the Yahoo Sports App delightful. You’ll ensure the product provides high quality coverage across sports and leagues through the entire sports calendar. You’ll

• collaborate closely with other teams across the Sports organization, as well as partners in engineering, design, marketing, programming, and analytics. This role reports to the Sr Director of Product, Core Sports. This role will focus on changing the way fans follow and engage with their games, teams, leagues, and players they care about. You’ll help elevate the core app experience by coordinating enhancements across multiple teams, integrating monetization strategies, and helping fans discover relevant and personalized content across news and notifications, video, scores, and more. A Lot About You Product Roadmapping & Execution Translates business goals and user needs into clear, milestone-driven roadmaps and requirements. Can effectively balance short-term delivery with long-term impact. Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution. Anticipates risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs, and communicates them clearly. Uses data,experimentation, and feedback loops to measure success and guide iteration. Customer Insights Demonstrated ability to identify and articulate customer problems and define opportunities. Leverages customer feedback, analytics, and market research to inform decisions. Defines measurable success metrics for projects and ensures they are tracked and monitored. Balances quantitative insights with strong product intuition to make decisions. Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI capabilities into day to day operations, product experiences, and development workflows. Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment Excellent communicator, tailoring messaging for teams, stakeholders, and leadership. Builds trust through clear updates, consistent delivery, and well-reasoned decisions. Creates documentation and artifacts to keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and progress. Proactively resolves conflicts and ensures alignment across diverse teams. Motivates and aligns cross-functional partners around shared goals. You Must Have

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager delivering consumer-focused experiences across native apps & web. Experience developing and managing product roadmaps, with proven success in execution and delivery. Strong ability to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders around shared priorities. Comfort working with data,experimentation frameworks, and applying insights to product decisions. Interest and aptitude in applying AI to consumer product experiences. Strong sports knowledge across multiple sports. Nice to Have(s) Experience working with large datasets of complex, real-time information. Familiarity with media or video streaming on apps and/or web. Background in customer-facing content-forward experiences in native apps. Experience integrating AI-driven features such as personalization, natural language experiences, or automated content generation. Compensation:** The compensation for this position ranges from $120,750.00 - $251,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
