The Carrier Relations/IPAL team is sourcing and provisioning Infrastructure services (Data Centers, colo PoPs and bandwidth connectivity) to support Global Production Network and Corp Offices connectivity with emphasis on Network Architecture diversity requirements. We manage contract continuity for renewals and/or vendor/route changes, to achieve network efficiency and cost reduction (OpEx). Managing Peering turn-ups and partnerships. We promote and enable team-members self-sufficiency and ownership models. A Lot About You You are an Experienced Technical Manager with expertise in Infrastructure, Networks and Telecommunication Services. Strong ability to procure and deliver bandwidth. Manage network circuit provisioning and data centers buildouts. Manage Infrastructure Vendors and Carriers with Contract negotiations. You are a self-starter and can run several projects simultaneously. You are smart, self-driven, and spend time trying to figure out how something works, not stopping with just knowing that it does. You like to relentlessly automate everything and anything at scale. You Will Collaborate with Network Engineering and Architecture teams to gather connectivity requirements (locations, type of circuit, capacity, etc.) Manage the RFP/RFQ process, gathering pricing and KMZs when applicable from several key vendors/carriers to qualify circuit diversity and/or resilience. Manage Architecture meetings to perform in-depth KMZ reviews/analysis. Negotiate desired terms and pricing with the selected vendor and Yahoo Legal. Provide end-to-end provisioning support (from time of quote and ordering to the service being put into production). Support NOC and Network Engineering Teams with production turn-ups and technical support (to include vendor managementand escalation where necessary) Manage internal Yahoo IX bilateral Peering Queue for improved peering connectivity Manage vendor relationships with various transport and colocation providers Be responsible for creating and tracking circuit requirements. Collaborate with the Finance team on funds allocation and billing reconciliation. Qualifications 5+ years of Telecommunications experience with BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent Good knowledge of vendor transport solutions (DIA, Ethernet, Waves, Dark Fiber, e.g)

Compensation:** The compensation for this position ranges from $98,250.00 - $204,375.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
