THE ROLE: 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales leader to drive performance across our Sales channels, and Sales Operations functions in Germany. This role will be responsible for leading and developing the sales team, 3P partnerships, optimising sales processes and systems, and delivering strong sales results through data-driven planning, robust cross-functional collaboration, and best-in-class execution.

You will be central to our go-to-market strategy in Germany, developing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key partners, supporting commercial negotiations, ensuring operational excellence across all sales channels, and driving efficiency through effective sales operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess a strong track record in strategic sales leadership, partner management, and implementing impactful sales operations initiatives. 

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

Sales Leadership & Performance:

  • Own sales performance across all sales channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and targets.
  • Analyse sales performance data and trends across all channels to identify opportunities, address performance gaps, drive growth and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and manage the local sales team, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability to deliver results.
  • Analyse sales trends to ensure strong performance and close performance gaps.
  • Develop and execute data-driven sales strategies to unlock growth opportunities and drive sales performance.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to build robust sales forecasts and track performance against budget.
  • Identify and analyse sales trends to inform strategic decisions and optimise channel performance.

Partner & Account Management:

  • Own and deepen relationships with key 3P retail partner(s), acting as the primary commercial point of contact (day to day management).
  • Set up and execute long term account plans with 3P partner(s) to drive performance in line with both parties strategies
  • Develop and execute a Joint Business Plan “JBP” to align on strategic pillars and key initiatives
  • Organise and drive regular partner engagement (e.g., QBRs, MBR, performance reviews)
  • Support contract negotiation and renewal process to agree terms that unlock mutual value
  • Establish multi-functional relationships with partners to become a preferred partner
  • Understand each partner’s P&L and unit economics, and support initiatives that drive mutual profitability
  • Drive strategic engagement with new potential partners, including partner’s assessment and deal recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Deliver best in class account management to drive mutual goals

Sales Operations:

    • Lead the Sales Operations function for Germany/Austria, focusing on optimising sales processes, implementing and managing sales technologies and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    • Develop and implement sales operations strategies and initiatives to improve sales efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness across all channels.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes, resolve operational challenges, and ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives.
    • Develop and implement sales enablement programs and resources to equip the sales teams and partners with the knowledge, tools, and training needed to succeed.
    • Champion the adoption of best practices in sales operations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution

    • Work across functions (e.g., Marketing, FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment on channel initiatives and smooth execution of 1P/3P projects.
    • Support the business in improving overall unit economics and customer acquisition cost across sales channels.
    • Provide timely, insightful sales reporting for key internal forums (WBR, MBR, QBR) and ad hoc needs.
    • Champion process improvements and operational excellence across the sales organisation.

EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS REQUIRED: 

  • Demonstrable experience in commercial or sales roles, ideally within consumer, retail, or tech environments
  • Proven experience managing retail accounts and/or direct-to-consumer sales channels.
  • Strong understanding of partner/channel dynamics and unit economics.
  • Confident leading cross-functional initiatives with stakeholders across Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Legal.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills; experience with sales reporting tools (e.g. Salesforce, Excel).
  • Strong communicator with executive presence; able to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with high accountability and a bias for action.
  • Fluent German and English required
