THE ROLE:
FloSports is currently looking for an experienced Global Partnership Manager to work directly with our FloCollege media rights partners. This exciting role will be responsible for developing and maintaining current partnerships, as well as identifying new opportunities focused on driving the long term success of the business. The key responsibilities include regular partner communications, ensuring execution of contract deliverables, pre-season onboarding, post-season wrap ups, leading internal cross-departmental alignment, and general account management. The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker, exceptional communicator with excellent cross-functional skills, have the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, and have experience building and cultivating partner relationships. This role will be based in Austin, TX and required to work in the Austin office a minimum of 4 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively manage and nurture partner relationships to ensure successful execution and fulfillment of agreed upon terms
Act as the main point of contact between the company and our partners to ensure timely communication, issue resolution, and alignment of goals
Seek out opportunities to optimize and elevate existing partnerships
Identify and explore potential new partnership opportunities
Mitigate and manage escalations by communicating effectively and appropriately with stakeholders
Understand partner goals and establish KPIs
Facilitate internal cross-departmental communication, alignment, and execution
Evaluate current processes, propose and implement adjustments that will improve efficiency, and measure success of all changes implemented
Ensure processes are clearly documented, socialized and adopted
Travel up to 10% may be required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
3+ years of relevant partner relationship experience
Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work cross departmentally
Attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and the flexibility to comfortably navigate ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to find solutions both independently and in collaboration with internal teams and partners
Experience gaining insights from data and using it to make future decisions
Experience with software used commonly within the company including Salesforce, data analytics tools, Excel, and Google Workspace applications
Experience in the sports and/or media broadcast rights industries, as well as familiarity with the NCAA space, are considered strong plusses.
