THE ROLE:

FloSports is hiring a Global Partnerships Coordinator to serve as an essential member of the Rights Acquisition team, supporting partner relationships and ensuring the seamless execution of partnership agreements. With 1-2 years of experience in account management or similar client-facing roles, the Coordinator will focus on building foundational partnerships while growing their expertise in cross-functional collaboration and operational processes. This role will be based in Waterloo, Ontario and required to work in the Waterloo office a minimum of 4 days per week and reports into a Director, Global Partnerships - Hockey.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and collaborate closely with Global Partnership Managers and the Director of Global Partnerships to assist in managing and executing partnership agreements, ensuring terms are fulfilled and partner needs are met.

  • Coordinate onboarding for new partners, introducing them to internal stakeholders and support teams.

  • Facilitate partner communications through established workflows, acting as a resource for questions and minor escalations.

  • Support cross-functional collaboration by coordinating with departments such as Programming, Content, Marketing, Production, and Operations.

  • Organize kick-off and status meetings with partners to ensure alignment and progress throughout the year or season.

  • Assist in post-mortem reviews after events and/or seasons to gather feedback and improve processes.

  • Gather and compile event data for reporting purposes.

  • Occasional travel for partner meetings or event support as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in account management, partnerships, or a client-facing role.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently or collaboratively to find solutions, and the flexibility to comfortably navigate ambiguity.

  • Basic experience in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Salesforce, Excel, and Google Sheets.

  • Tech-savvy and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • An understanding of the sports industry or previous experience in hockey is a bonus.
