Event Experience & Game Presentation Coordinator 

Contribute to the overall success of MLB Global Events and gain experience by assisting with Event Experience and Game Presentation areas, including but not limited to: 

• Participate in department planning meetings and assist in the development of creative ideas and solutions for event entertainment and production 
• Conduct research as needed on areas of ballpark entertainment or production that need further exploration
• Assist with creation of presentations, event decks and summaries and support documents in the event planning process
• Assist with identifying talent for MLB Global Event needs, and with talent arrangements including travel, credential/tickets, staffing, rehearsal arrangements, green room, etc.
• Assist with script and run-of-show development for ceremonies, promotions and other event activations for MLB Global Events
• Tracking and coordination of World Series trophy logistics as needed including shipping for promotional use 
• Assist with tracking videoboard content from internal MLB departments for MLB Global Events
• Contribute to MLB’s league-wide work with Game Presentation & Scoreboard Departments from the 30 MLB Clubs and addressing key Club issues/topics with league office.

Work will include Club surveys and information gathering; preparation communication to Clubs on league-wide initiatives; and preparing action-item and call summaries from MLB/Club regularly scheduled group calls and individual sessions

• High level of engagement with MLB central office departments overseeing Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Broadcasting, Baseball Operations, Security & Facility Management, Community Affairs, Communications, etc.
• Key qualifications include: collaborative spirit, diligence, attention to detail, communication skills including good writing skills, creativity. Previous experience with Game Presentation in sports is a plus.

Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is an hourly rate of $25-$29. The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
