Overview / Objective

The NFL Communications department is seeking a dynamic and innovative member to support the NFL’s Media and Business communications efforts, as well as International. This position requires cross-departmental collaborations, including the NFL’s broadcasting department and NFL Media located in

Responsibilities

• Develop promotional plans for various NFL Network and NFL Media properties, such as “Good Morning Football,” “NFL GameDay Morning,” “The Insiders” and NFL+
• Assist Senior Manager, Communications with interview requests for NFL Media on-air talent
• Support the development of press releases, talking points and briefing materials
• Monitor media for coverage of NFL Media business
• Oversee and manage the content of NFL Media’s Twitter and Instagram accounts
• Assist in the approval process of PR/marketing assets from the NFL’s broadcast partners

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
• Internship and/or 1-2 years of work experience in a related field

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of social media platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail

• Possibility for travel to NFL tentpole events such as Super Bowl, NFL Scouting Combine and NFL Draft

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

• This position is required to work 40 hours per week, and overtime may be required. This is an FLSA non-exempt position.
• This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
