Position Title: Benefits Content Associate

Reporting To: Manager, Strategy & Operations

Location: Newton, MA (preferred), Chapel Hill, NC, New York, NY, or Minneapolis, MN  

Compensation Information: Benefits Content Associate 1 ($60,000-$70,000) 

Position Summary:

As part of the Health Content team, the primary mission is to develop, build, refine, and analyze benefits-related content and tooling that supports Well’s goal to offer end-to-end support for all members to improve total health and reduce costs. The benefit content and tooling involves health related perks or advantages offered by companies to their employees. This can include everything from health insurance, to an EAP, to a Telehealth solution, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and summarize benefits options for each of our client partners
  • Design, write, and review member-facing content on various benefit topics, using behavioral techniques to promote self efficacy and empower members 
  • Support and develop operational processes around benefits content development, including efforts to streamline our approach and increase efficiency
  • Build benefits-related content into our app platform, utilizing internal development tools
  • Assist in testing and editing content prospectively and retrospectively
  • Work with a cross functional team to support the broader strategy around benefit referrals
  • Own the coordination of a specific content type (“Question of the Day”) to engage members and collect health outcomes data
  • Take personal responsibility for keeping all Well systems and data, including sensitive member data, secure and safe, according to Well data and security policies and HIPAA guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year’s relevant experience/industry knowledge working with health and welfare benefits 
  • Experience with professional, member-facing writing and/or editing 
  • Research experience and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; open to feedback and guidance
  • Highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Meticulous and logical attention to detail, and able to manage deliverable timelines in accordance with project delivery process
