The Role:
As VP of Finance, you will lead Scorability’s strategic finance initiatives, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, performance analysis, M&A, board-ready reporting and strategic decision support. You’ll report directly to CEO and work closely with leadership across the organization. This role is strategic, hands-on, and will help build and evolve our financial infrastructure as we grow.
What you’ll do:
- As our VP of Finance and first finance hire, you will build and be responsible for all aspects of the finance and accounting functions acting as both a hands-on and strategic partner
- Lead the evolution and execution of company financial strategy in partnership with Co-Founders
- Own and enhance the consolidated corporate model; drive monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast cycles
- Oversee finance operations, including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), fundraising, capital allocations, financial reporting, risk management, and compliance
- Develop and manage strategic plans, including annual operating plans and multi-year forecasts
- Guide resource allocation and capital investment decisions across the company
- Provide deep analysis of financial performance, unit economics, and ROI to support executive decision-making
- Define and report on KPIs (e.g., Magic Number, CAC, LTV, ARR/MRR) and develop dashboards and reporting structures that improve insight and accountability
- Build real-time performance tracking tools and promote a culture of metrics-driven decision-making
- Serve as a trusted financial partner to key business leaders in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations
- Lead financial reporting and insights delivery to the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and investors
- Support company-wide strategic initiatives, including M&A evaluation, partnerships, and capital market activities
- Thrive in lean environments, and a high bar for accuracy and financial rigor while operating with agility and ownership
- Lead the annual budgeting process, partnering with department heads to ensure clarity, accountability, and alignment with company-wide objectives
- Optimize and automate financial systems, processes, and tools
- Own accounting strategy and infrastructure to support accuracy and timeliness
- Support legal and contract-related activities, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements
- Partner with leadership on headcount planning and hiring
- Occasional travel possible
Experience we’re seeking:
- 3+ years of finance experience in a Manager or higher role within a high-growth SaaS organization
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Proven expertise in financial strategy, financial planning, FP&A, regulatory compliance, and scaling finance operations in high-growth environments
- Strong track record in fundraising, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for a SaaS organization
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability and experience in presenting to executives, boards, and investors
- Strategic mindset with a history of fast action, accountability, and attention to detail
- Experience working on legal and contract-related activities
