HISTORY

LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series with tournaments across the U.S., Europe and Asia. 2023 saw the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing the sport’s first professional golf teams captained by many of the game’s most decorated superstars competing in 14 events around the world.

The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; three days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide, showcase world-class competition within a family-friendly environment. Music entertainment, live concerts and a festival-style atmosphere play a signature role with LIV Golf, a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year.

LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. Role Objective 

LIV Golf is seeking a Teams Digital Product Manager to lead and manage digital experiences across both our league and team websites, as well as our mobile app. This role is critical in delivering a best-in-class digital experience by ensuring high-quality content, seamless user journeys, and impactful fan engagement strategies. 

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in web content management and product thinking. This role requires a strategic, data-driven mindset and strong cross-functional collaboration skills, using user research, performance insights, and partnerships with other departments to improve content and drive fan engagement continuously. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Content Strategy & Management 

  • Support the content planning and own execution across all 13 LIV Golf team websites and app experiences. 

  • Develop and manage content roadmaps aligned with broader product and marketing objectives. 

  • Partner with stakeholders across marketing, design, and product teams to craft compelling narratives and optimize user flows. 

  • Maintain an agile content calendar and oversee timely updates—including landing pages, galleries, videos, and layouts. 

  • Ensure content is SEO-optimized and adheres to best practices for discoverability and performance. 

Product Management & UX Optimization 

  • Serve as the content product owner—ensuring digital content aligns with business goals, user needs, and platform capabilities. 

  • Develop and implement A/B tests for content formats, CTAs, and layouts to drive performance. 

  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to streamline CMS workflows and enhance UX. 

  • Leverage analytics tools, heatmaps, and user feedback to iterate and improve engagement. 

  • Champion data-driven decision-making tied to key KPIs and fan behavior insights. 

Design & Visual Content Support 

  • Use Figma and/or Photoshop to create compelling layouts, UI components, and content modules for both web and mobile. 

  • Partner with designers and developers to elevate visual storytelling through multimedia and dynamic content. 

  • Ensure all creative assets are on-brand and reflect the unique identities of individual teams. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement 

  • Act as the connective tissue between content, marketing, product, and development teams. 

  • Identify opportunities to automate and optimize content workflows and publishing processes. 

  • Drive continuous improvements in operations, ensuring efficient content production from concept to deployment. 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

Required Experience 

  • 3–5+ years in digital content management, publishing, or product management for web and/or mobile platforms. 

  • Strong understanding of CMS platforms and content workflows. 

  • Proven experience executing strategic content initiatives that drive traffic and engagement. 

  • Familiarity with SEO principles, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and performance-based optimization. 

  • Experience in sports, entertainment, or digital media is a plus (golf knowledge preferred but not required). 

Must-Have Skills 

  • User-Centered Mindset: Deep understanding of user behavior and ability to craft experiences that delight and engage. 

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficient in performance analysis, A/B testing, and applying insights to strategy. 

  • Project & Time Management: Comfortable in an agile environment, balancing priorities across multiple initiatives. 

  • Technical Fluency: Familiar with web development basics, CMS architecture, and UX/UI principles. 

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Strong communicator and collaborator with a track record of driving initiatives across departments.
