**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage billing and revenue operations for our Nielsen One Ads business. They will play a significant role in ensuring timely and accurate billing for our clients across North America. They will also actively engage in revenue operations, including reconciliations with SAP Revenue Accounting and Recognition (RAR) for the business unit. This role plays a significant part in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting effective decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete billing cycle for Nielsen One Ads clients, from contract interpretation and order processing to invoice generation and revenue recognition.
• Monitor and track billing data to ensure consistency and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices, maintaining financial records and handling billing inquiries.
• Reconcile, investigate and resolve discrepancies between financial records and SAP RAR data.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, legal and other teams to clarify contract ambiguities and ensure accurate billing setup.
• Prepare reports and summaries on billing activities, account status and outstanding items.
• Support month end and year end closing activities.

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in billing analysis and revenue operations, preferably within the technology, media or advertising industries.
• Strong English Level (B2-C1)
• Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition principles, and accounting concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas and reporting.
• Proficiency in using billing systems and softwares.
• Knowledge with SAP (S4 Hana environment) and usage based billing systems are a plus.
