Are you ready to push the boundaries of simulation technology and help shape the future of Williams Racing? We’re on the hunt for a passionate and innovative Simulation Concepts Engineer to join our Simulation Concepts Team within Vehicle Dynamics.

As a Simulation Concepts Engineer, you will contribute to the team’s success through the analysis of simulation and associated methodology, and the development our vehicle simulation capability.

We're looking for a trailblazer; you'll need to develop novel ways of using our most advanced simulations and contribute to the development and improvement of our next generation models & simulations.

Key Focus Areas

  • Vehicle Model Development & Correlation: Analysis of drivability & stability, development of vehicle parameters, rig test methods development, and automation of correlation optimisation methods.
  • Leading Vehicle Simulations & Data Analysis Methodology: Contributing to the development of the methodology that allows us to fully leverage our lap sim, ride sim & inference sim tools to answer performance questions.
  • Support Future Car Concept Simulation: Apply new simulation method prototypes to future car concept performance analysis to prove out concepts.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Train and support other teams to maximise the impact of our simulation tools.

What We’re Looking For

You’re not just an engineer - you’re a problem-solver, an innovator, and a team player. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A strong degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in vehicle dynamics fundamentals, vehicle simulation usage or model development, and data analysis.
  • Programming skills in Python or MATLAB.
  • A passion for motorsport, with the drive to continuously push the limits of technology.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure.
  • A proactive mindset, always seeking new ways to innovate.
