About the Role

As the Senior Engineering Manager for Personalization, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of Super's unified Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Personalization Service. Currently, our customer understanding is federated across different verticals, leading to static or fragmented experiences. Together with the Product team, your mission is to build a centralized data product that provides a holistic understanding of our customers' preferences, history, and needs. By delivering the right data at the right time, you will empower every team—from Sports and Gaming to Social and CRM—to serve personalized content, messaging, and experiences that drive deep engagement.

• Experience in Technical and People leadership
• Strong exposure to hiring engineers and establishing team culture.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Advocate of servant leadership: Takes a hands-on approach to engineering daily basis.
• Experience resolving complex engineering and communication issues
• Great time management, organizational and multitasking skills

Bonus points for:

• Experience of hiring and scaling a distributed team across multiple domains.
• Experience with developing, deploying, and maintaining microservices-oriented applications

What you’ll be doing:

• Hiring  and leading a the team of engineers; reporting directly to you will be engineers (tech leads, software engineers, QAs)
• Ensure growth and development opportunities for all team members which includes employee coaching and mentoring, identifying and removing roadblocks and distractions, running regular 1:1s and feedback sessions with team members, performing performance reviews for the direct reports
• Nurturing a strong relationship with other engineering managers, technical leads and product managers
• Stakeholder coordination: defining priorities, managing expectations, ensuring regular updates and follow-ups regarding the teams’ scope of work
• Supporting engineering department goals by setting team requirements, goals and timelines
• Making relevant technical and business decisions that ensure predictable delivery in terms of timelines, stability, and performance
• Building and maintaining the culture of engineering excellence - we don’t cut corners when it comes to quality and reliability
