Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a strong background in producing assets for both print and digital channels, with a specific focus on web design and email marketing. This role requires exceptional organizational and project management skills to manage multiple deliverables from concept through final production. The ideal candidate thrives in a cross-functional environment and is proactive in learning new tools and improving creative workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Production: Develop and design a wide range of visual assets for print, web, email, and SMS campaigns, including webpage layouts, infographics, promotional materials, email templates, and digital brochures/PDFs.

  • Digital & Email Focus: Create high-converting graphics and layouts for email campaigns and web design, and design responsive email templates optimized for various devices and platforms.

  • Print & Packaging: Prepare files for print production and digital deployment, demonstrating a strong understanding of pre-press, printing processes, file formats (CMYK/RGB), and print specifications (dielines, bleeds, trims, resolution). Manage design development and production follow-through, including proofing and quality control.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure brand consistency across all creative deliverables. Assist in the development and advise on the implementation of brand standards or style guides.

  • Collaboration & Strategy: Collaborate effectively with product leaders, developers, subject matter experts and operational teams to meet creative objectives, contribute to concept development, and participate in creative brainstorming sessions and project kick-offs.

  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, track job orders, and consistently meet established deadlines, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with and manage external vendors, such as printers and freelancers, to communicate technical specifications and ensure final products meet quality standards and timelines.

  • This is a Hybrid role, requiring several days per month in office

Qualifications
  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Art, Digital Media Design, or a related field.

    • 5+ years of experience as a graphic artist in a corporate or agency environment.

 

  • Hard Skills / Technical Proficiency:

    • Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

    • Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including layout design, typography, visual hierarchy, and color theory.

    • Demonstrated experience creating content for both print and digital media, and email/SMS campaigns.

    • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.

    • Expert proficiency using email campaign tools such as Salesforce, Litmus or Email on Acid.

    • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Figma, or Sketch. 

    • Working knowledge of file transfer protocols and asset management systems.

    • Ability to produce and follow creative briefs.

    • Attention to and knowledge of trademark, copyright, and accessibility standards.

    • Fluency in English.

 

  • Soft Skills / Attributes:

    • Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.

    • Established record of collaboration and strong interpersonal and communication skills while working independently, with external stakeholders, and as part of a team

    • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

    • Ability to receive, interpret, and incorporate feedback.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

    • A strong commitment to being a lifelong learner and staying up to date with evolving design techniques and tools.

    • A proactive and positive attitude with a "can-do" mindset.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with asset management tools (e.g. Robohead, Trello, DAM systems).

  • Recommended certifications include Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) and UX/UI design certifications.
