Seasonal GameDay Morning Associate Producer

NFL Media is seeking a dynamic and experienced Seasonal Associate Producer to join the NFL GameDay Morning team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for football and hands-on experience in edit bays. You’ll work closely with editors, producers, and on-air talent to help create compelling content for one of the NFL’s flagship programs.

Essential Functions 

  • Work closely with the entire NFL GameDay Morning team on a daily basis on show content 
  • Work in edit bays with an editor to cut music videos, teases and b-roll tapes 
  • Formulate and pitch ideas for show elements as well as segment topics in production meetings 
  • Adhere to established production schedule to meet deadlines 
  • Strong NFL knowledge is required 

Required Education and Experience 

  • Years of experience 3-5 
  • College degree in Communications, Journalism or related field is required. 

Preferred Education and Experience 

  • Previous professional experience in TV Production environment is strongly preferred 

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics 

  • Must have strong editorial skills and NFL knowledge to know what video and soundbites are best to edit 
  • Must be able to respond quickly on short deadlines 
  • Must be able to respond positively to criticism 
  • A team attitude is mandatory in all tasks requested from the smallest to largest 

Supervisory Responsibility 

  • Must be comfortable supervising editors in an edit bay 

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Salary
$35$40 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
