Job Description

Working with Meru Health as a Remote Therapist fully licensed in MA, you will be part of a mission to make mental health care more holistic, effective, accessible and outcome-driven. Watch this brief animation  to learn more. We are actively hiring for therapists to start as soon as they are able.

Why Join Meru Health?

We know California is a crowded market, so here’s what sets us apart for therapists:

  • Flexibility You Control: Work remotely from anywhere, set your own schedule, and start with as little as 10 hours per week.
  • No Claw Backs: Not only do we compensate for no-shows and late cancellations - but if an insurer doesn’t pay, you keep your fees.
  • A Treatment Modality That Works: We are helping folks get better in just 12 weeks. Really.
  • Patient Demand: We are launching with a major new health plan partner — creating exponential growth potential for clinicians who join now.
  • Strong Clinical Community: Join a vibrant, supportive network of clinicians who meet regularly for consultation, CEUs, and community building.
  • Streamlined Admin Support: No more chasing claims or endless paperwork. We handle scheduling, billing, and client engagement tools so you can focus on care.
  • Professional Growth: Free monthly CEU webinars, cross-state licensing support, and collaboration with a world-class product team shaping the future of care delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate 30-40 minute intake calls and brief program check-ins via Zoom.
  • Support participants in our 12-week digital program through secure clinical chat (approx. 10–15 minutes per participant per week).
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary care team and provide feedback to improve our tools and outcomes.
  • Track participant progress using our digital platform and maintain clinical documentation aligned with ethical and legal standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • Doctoral or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy).
  • Full, independent licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LPC, LCSW) in California (multi-state licensure a plus).
  • 3+ years of post-licensure experience working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, stress, or burnout.
  • Training in CBT, mindfulness-based therapy, and evidence-based care.
  • Cultural competence, clinical excellence, and compassion.
  • Comfort using technology and adaptability in a fast-growing, innovative environment.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive intake & participant rates with protection against no-shows.
  • Flexible remote schedule that adapts to your life.
  • Support with cross-state licensure if you want to expand your reach.
  • Monthly free CEU webinars and professional development resources.
  • Access to a community of like-minded, mission-driven clinicians.
  • Administrative and technical support to reduce burden and maximize clinical time.
