About the role The Programs Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic direction of programs across Tennis Australia. Supporting the participation team to drive the growth segments linked to the “Game On” Strategy, the role is responsible for ensuring that programs are designed and delivered to get more people playing tennis. In this role you will: Set the overarching direction and tone of programs, ensuring alignment to the organisation’s strategic goals.

Act as the central point of coordination for program-related initiatives, ensuring clarity of roles, timelines and deliverables.Establish and maintain structured feedback loops to capture insights from the field to inform continuous program improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including clubs, coaches, volunteers. Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms used for program tracking and evaluation. Monitor monthly expenditure to ensure program spend remains on track and within approved limits.

About you To be successful in this role you will have: A qualification in Sport Management, Coaching, Education, Marketing, or a related field.

Sound knowledge of the Australian tennis ecosystem, including club structures, coach development pathways, and volunteer engagement. Experience designing inclusive, scalable program frameworks and embedding continuous improvement practices. Familiarity with national and international sporting bodies and alignment with industry standards and trends. A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain). Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia. What’s to love?
