We're looking for a Product Marketing Co-op that is passionate about gaming to join our high-performing marketing team for a 4-month term starting in January. This person will be responsible for supporting the Product Marketing team in finding opportunities in the market, protecting the brand identity, and supporting both new and existing live game marketing campaigns. This role involves contributing to developing gamer-focused marketing strategies by leveraging market data and trends. As well as collaborating with a cross-functional team to ideate and execute marketing campaign tactics across: PR, Web, Social, Influencers, Paid Media Marketing and more!
This role is a fully on-site position based at our Downtown Vancouver studio.
In this role, you will:Campaign Ideation: Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new campaign ideas for both live games and upcoming titles.Content Creation: Help create promotional materials to engage players, including trailers, videos, social media posts, and copy for various platforms.Asset Management: Assist in project management by preparing briefs for the creation of new branding assets and delivering the outcome to stakeholders.Cross-functional Support: Coordinate team meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on items to proceed with cross-functional teams.Partner Communication: Assist in working with partners by coordinating communications and delivering marketing materials.Market Research: Conduct research on gaming industry trends, audience demographics, and competitor games to support strategy.Competitive Monitoring: Assist in gathering insights on competitor performance from external resourcesTo be successful in this role, you have:A passion for gaming and knowledge of gaming cultureCurrent enrolment in university with a major in Marketing, Business, or other related fieldExperience with Photoshop is preferredAn interest in product marketing and social media, with the natural ability to keep engaged with social media trendsStrong communication skills with a clear and logical communication styleAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong work ethic and desire for personal and professional developmentExcited by this opportunity?
