Scopely is looking for a Principal Marketing Artist to join our team based in Bangalore (On-site / Hybrid).

What You Will Do

We are looking for a Principal Marketing Artist to lead and support the execution of high-quality, cutting-edge marketing visuals for some of the world’s most successful mobile games.

You will guide a team of Senior Marketing Artists, ensuring excellent visual quality across performance-driven assets (UA, ASO, and SM) while collaborating closely with global cross-functional teams.

• Own and oversee the visual production process for creative marketing materials: static ads, app store assets, and key visuals.
• Support and mentor a team of Senior Marketing Artists in Bangalore, providing visual direction, technical support, and professional development.
• Ensure excellence in AI-generated art workflows: prompt crafting, paintovers, refinement, and final integration into compositions.
• Provide 2D and 3D design support including clean-ups, matte painting, retouching, layout, and lighting using Blender or Maya.
• Ensure consistent alignment with brand guidelines, established pipelines, and high production quality.
• Collaborate closely with the Art Director to define and uphold the visual quality bar, ensuring all creatives meet the highest artistic standards.
• Collaborate in the development and maintenance of visual style guides and brand systems, ensuring consistency across assets and IPs.
• Collaborate with global teams (Spain, US, and remote) to align on feedback, priorities and delivery schedules.
• Ensure excellence in AI-generated art workflows: prompt crafting, paintovers, refinement, and final integration into compositions.
• Provide 2D and 3D design support including clean-ups, matte painting, retouching, layout, and lighting using Blender or Maya.
• Maintain strong accountability and reporting through collaboration with Operations and use of internal workflow tools.
• Occasionally support brainstorm sessions and feedback alignment when needed.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in creative production, preferably within the gaming, tech, or entertainment industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing execution-heavy marketing art, including AI-generated visuals, 3D integration, and high-quality compositions.
• Advanced skills with AI generation tools (Nano Banana, Flux, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, etc.).
• Proficiency in Photoshop and 3D tools (Blender required; Maya a plus).
• Demonstrated leadership in art direction and team mentorship.
• Strong grasp of design fundamentals: composition, color theory, visual hierarchy, and storytelling.
• Experience working independently and driving projects forward with minimal oversight.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams in multiple time zones.

Bonus Points

• Experience working in performance marketing environments.
• Familiarity with AI generation tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, etc.).
• Familiarity with agile tools, workflow management systems and performance reporting.
