About the role The Places to Play Lead plays a key role in strengthening the future of tennis in Victoria by supporting the development and enhancement of tennis infrastructure across the state. The role requires the ability to build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with local government authority (LGA) partners and Tennis Victoria affiliates, ensuring that investment in facilities delivers meaningful, lasting outcomes for both the sport and the wider community. In this role you will: Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on local infrastructure projects to external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Tennis Victoria’s strategic priorities.
Represent Tennis Victoria on project control groups and participate in forums and meetings as required.Administer the Tennis Australia National Court Rebate Scheme. Administer any applicable Tennis Victoria infrastructure funding programs. Build and maintain relationships within the tennis court construction industry and with Technical Advisory Service partners to promote best practice and ensure high standards of tennis court construction.
About you To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated expertise in community sport and recreation infrastructure planning, development, and delivery.
Familiarity with sports data and programs. Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check. Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia. What’s to love?
