Role Overview/Purpose
The Commercial Performance team sits within the Superbet Commercial function, responsible for the overall revenue for all products across Superbet.bet.br. The team is tasked with ensuring that performance trends are understood, learnings are leveraged and that the propositions of the brand are delivered consistently. The team works closely with multiple stakeholders around the business to ensure delivery of these objectives.

The Performance Analyst, reporting into the Senior Performance Manager, will be supporting this by tracking and interpreting commercial performance, as well as analysing and identifying new opportunities and efficiencies for the Superbet business. They will become the subject matter expert on the Brazilian business (across all products) and will leverage their expertise to develop compelling propositions that drive sustainable revenue growth, also leading and feeding into our Test & Learn process.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to influence our strategy to drive performance of the Superbet business in Brazil. They will partner with the Central BI team to deliver a 360 view on performance and will feed into producing content for presentations to senior management across the organisation. They will also work with dedicated areas of the business such as strategy, commercial planning, revenue planning, CRM, Marketing and VIP on key projects and analysis.

What You'll Be Doing...

• Conducting analysis to understand why customers do what they do and what this means for business performance.
• Improving commercial and marketing teams’ understanding of customer behaviour, evaluating effectiveness of promotions and customer journeys, and influencing them to take the best course of action in order to deliver on value propositions and revenue growth
• Working closely with stakeholders to define analytical requirements, prioritise work, manage expectations and deliver results in a timely and informative way.
• Writing and optimising SQL queries to retrieve data and perform subsequent data manipulation, problem solving and analysis.
• Translate complex data into clear narratives and visualisations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We're Looking For...

• 3rd level degree in a business/data analysis/numerical discipline or relevant professional experience and an inquisitive mind-set.
• Experience using Excel to analyse and visualise data using charts, pivot tables etc.
• Proficiency in SQL or other programming language such as Python is a must
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

• Fluency in Portuguese and English is also required.
• A successful track record as an analyst in a high volume, data-rich, complex business, including understanding of data and analytical technical infrastructure is desirable
• Familiarity with the sports betting, gaming and gambling industry is advantageous but not a requirement
• Can be based in either São Paulo or Rio De Janeiro location
