About the role The Pathways Coordinator role supports the comprehensive development and implementation of projects within the Coach, Pathways and Competitive Play teams of Tennis Queensland. This role is central to coordinating coach events, professional development programs, project activations, program initiatives and ensuring alignment with Tennis Queensland's strategic objectives. The role serves as a key liaison between Tennis Queensland and external stakeholders such as coaches, clubs, educational providers, and community organisations to foster the growth and development of tennis across Queensland. In this role you will: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with key external stakeholders, including private coaches, centre operators, schools and clubs, to support the delivery of tennis programs and pathways.


• Create a customer feedback cycle for stakeholder engagements and implement it within team practices.
• Support the planning, delivery and follow up of a wide range of programs and events in alignment with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate the regional projects aimed at increasing the number of coaches and player participation in targeted regional, remote and rural areas.
• Support the facilitation of professional development opportunities for coaches and competitive play stakeholders, including workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
• Manage and coordinate operations and logistics for events, initiatives and projects, such as but not limited to, venue bookings, invoicing, equipment provision, and participant registration.

About you To be successful in this role you will have: A tertiary degree in a relevant business or sport development/management field (preferable).


• An understanding of the tennis industry and state sporting structures.
• High level interpersonal skills and communication skills with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
• Strong administration skills, including computer literacy, record-keeping and report writing plus confidence in adopting diverse digital platforms.

A current Police Check and Blue Card (or be willing to obtain). A preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis QLD. What’s to love?
