Responsibilities:

As the Lead Cloud Engineer - you'll spearhead the technical vision and strategy for the Cloud Infra organization. Your role involves shaping the technical direction for our infrastructure, supporting the growth of our core business, and venturing into new domains. 

• Lead large-scale cloud optimization projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and improve cloud resource efficiency.
• Oversee cloud architecture design for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Monitor and optimize server performance, system stability, and deployment processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
• Promote automation and best practices for infrastructure management.

Key Competencies:

• Experience provisioning and managing complex Kubernetes clusters with cross functional dependencies.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale infrastructure on public clouds (AWS).
• Familiar with programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, etc.
• Experience in the Gaming Industry (ideally). Alternatively - experience with Unity and a passion for building services for games. 

Experience

• 6+ years of professional work experience, including mentoring engineering teams to foster their career growth and technical skills, whether as a Tech Lead (TL), Software Architect, or hands-on Engineering Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience

Total Starting Compensation including Base + Bonus + Equity: $285,000 - $530,000
