Betsson Group is now looking for a Director of Infrastructure and Cloud

This leadership position reports to our CTO and will be responsible for delivering and executing various Engineering initiatives within Betsson Group. We are looking for a driven and passionate individual with an in-depth knowledge of evolving infrastructure technologies, a strong operational presence, a strategic mindset, and a solid understanding of the industry. This role will require being present in both our offices in Stockholm and Malta.

A taster of what you will be involved with: 

• Overall responsible for all infrastructure, both on-prem and Cloud-based, offices and production environments within the Betsson group. Both strategically and operationally. 
• Advocate responsibility and a sense of urgency for all things operational—drive improved reliability and availability, explore and support new tools, technologies, and platforms. 
• Drive the vision and execution of our systems infrastructure organization internally to the company 
• Externally promote our vision as well through external speaking engagements with industry partners 
• Collaborate closely with all Engineering departments to ensure proper usage, deployment, performance, and scaling of our platforms. 
• Full budget responsibility, both planning and executing 
• Frequent travel to our other locations will be required  

What we are looking for

• Minimum of 10 years of senior managerial experience (Including managing a support and infrastructure team) 
• Experience within the gaming industry 
• Academic qualifications 
• A varied technical understanding and background, including production environments on-prem, in the Cloud and for end users. 
• Extremely strong communication skills 
• Ambition, strategic mindset, ability to be proactive and to work within a busy sales environment 
• A solid understanding of the industry trends, with the ability to analyse future trends
