About the role Tennis NSW is seeking a strategic and innovative Head of Marketing & Communications to lead our marketing, communications, and member engagement programs, including initiatives for the United Cup – Sydney. In this pivotal role, you will shape and deliver a bold marketing and communications strategy that elevates Tennis NSW’s position as a leader in sport, drives participation and engagement, and amplifies our brand across NSW. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact, connecting with members, fans, and partners to grow tennis and create unforgettable experiences. In this role you will: Develop and execute a bold marketing and communications strategy aligned with Tennis NSW Vision 2030, driving long-term growth and engagement.

Champion marketing for the United Cup Sydney, in partnership with Tennis Australia, to deliver world-class event experiences, fan engagement, and sponsor activations.Lead marketing for major Tennis NSW member events, ensuring high engagement and consistent brand representation. Inspire and lead a high-performing, collaborative, and creative team culture that reflects our values of Imagination, Collaboration, Excellence, and Humility.

About you You are a strategic marketing and communications leader with a track record of guiding high-performing teams and delivering impactful strategies.

Skilled in stakeholder engagement, event management, and presenting insights, you combine strong organisation and digital expertise with a collaborative approach. Above all, you are passionate about tennis and using your skills to grow and promote the sport. In this role you will succeed by: Leading and inspiring marketing, digital media, and communications teams to deliver results. Developing and executing strategies that engage stakeholders, drive campaigns, and deliver successful events. Building and maintaining strong relationships, presenting insights, and communicating with impact. Applying advanced digital, production, and design skills to grow engagement and strengthen the brand. Staying ahead of digital marketing trends and leveraging analytics to inform strategy. Bringing genuine passion for tennis and a commitment to promoting the sport across NSW. Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check. What’s to love?
