ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for a Hardware Validation Engineer. This role will have the responsibility to assess customer usage of our fitness products, where the engineer will contribute to improving the product during product development, continuous improvement and product reliability. This role requires constant interaction with people and a high level of detail and observation, making a day-to-day interactive and dynamic.

The Hardware Validation Engineer excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, challenged by problem solving and requiring hands-on product activities.  with a desire to learn. If you like to work in a fast pace environment, be challenged and exercise, this might be a great opportunity.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Coordinate and execute product testing and collecting data and observations
  • Design test fixtures/tools
  • Execute the mechanical and electrical tests of HW reliability from validation plans in the internal or 3rd party labs.
  • Write working instructions, test procedure, test report or any technical document
  • Perform testing as directed by senior team members
  • Additional aspect  : Be a participant in the user experience test of interactive fitness products, such as bike and treadmill. And, join the develop validation process to provide the feedback and idea how to make the product better.

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • Fluent oral and written skills and the ability to document and present information in comprehensive and clear ways
  • 2+ years working in a lab space preferred
  • 1+ years of experience of Electrical or Mechanical testing
  • Experience with LabVIEW and 2D/3D drawing skill would be a plus
