ABOUT LIV GOLF

The LIV Golf League is the world’s only global golf league featuring 13 teams, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. Launched in 2022, the League was designed to expand the sport on a global level and create new value within the golfing ecosystem while enhancing the game’s societal impact. A landmark investment by LIV Golf also launched The International Series, a set of 10 enhanced events sanctioned by the Asian Tour, with elevated prize funds in world-class destinations, offering a pathway for leading professional and amateur golfers from around the world into the LIV Golf League.

HISTORY

LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series with tournaments across the U.S., Europe and Asia. 2023 saw the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing the sport’s first professional golf teams captained by many of the game’s most decorated superstars competing in 14 events around the world.

The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; three days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide, showcase world-class competition within a family-friendly environment. Music entertainment, live concerts and a festival-style atmosphere play a signature role with LIV Golf, a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year.

LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. It has also introduced free agency to professional golf, integrating end-of-season player promotion and relegation, team trades and off-season roster movement that drive year-round fan engagement, embraced by many of the world’s most popular sports.

Role Objective

You'll be at the heart of our creative vision, crafting cohesive artwork and key visuals that align seamlessly with our Events, ensuring every piece reflects our passion and precision. We're not just about golf—we embrace cultural influences to inject quality, vibrancy, and boldness into everything we create. This is your chance to shake things up, explore new ideas, and bring a fresh perspective to the table. As a creative force, you'll deliver visually stunning and captivating design materials and event assets that leave a lasting impression across our portfolio. From concept to completion, you'll collaborate on a variety of design projects, playing a hands-on role in bringing ideas to life. And with your finger firmly on the pulse of emerging design trends, you'll continuously introduce innovative ideas that elevate our brand’s visual identity and keep us ahead of the curve.

Responsibilities/What you will be doing

  • Create engaging and impactful designs according to requirements and an overall brand style that fans will love

  • Craft captivating marketing materials that leave a lasting impression from OOH and beyond

  • Delivering artwork across a range of different formats and templates, including web banners and social media assets

  • Producing user-friendly templates to share with external stakeholders, this may include agencies or freelancers for Events

  • Support event team presentation needs with elevated slide designs and conceptual mockups.

  • Design event-specific materials that steal the show. From eye-catching signage to engaging activations and merchandising, you'll make every event a memorable experience

  • Photo manipulation and retouching: Advanced ability to transform images with a keen eye for detail, colour and aesthetics

Event Design Experience:

  • Experience designing digital and print invitations that reflect event branding and tone.

  • Creation of event communication assets including email headers, itineraries, and info sheets.

  • Ability to translate event themes into cohesive visual concepts for print and digital use.

  • Design of website and digital campaign graphics including banners, landing page assets, and social tiles.

  • Experience creating merchandise designs such as apparel, accessories, and giveaways that align with the event brand.

Fan Village & Activation Design:

  • Ability to concept and execute cohesive designs for Fan Village spaces and brand activations, tailored to the market or region.

  • Knowledge of scale, material choices, and print production for high-impact onsite visuals.

  • Experience managing vendor approvals to ensure designs are bold, effective, and brand-compliant.

Required Skills/who you are

  • Able to perform at an intermediate level in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

  • Creative thinker with hands-on Figma expertise and a sharp eye for detail

  • Understanding of smart objects, compositing photography, colour correction and templates

  • Experience creating concepts, adaptive work, mood boards and presentations

  • Experience with creative ideation and idea generation

  • Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts, project requirements and concepts)

  • Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes

  • Produce final design solutions (like logos, banners and marketing materials)

  • Collaborate with team members to launch projects

  • Motion graphics is desirable, but not mandatory
