About the Role
As Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager at Wheel, you will play a critical role in owning and executing key elements of our financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision support processes. You will partner cross-functionally across the organization to ensure accurate financial reporting and help guide strategic decision-making with high-quality insights and analyses.
What You’ll Do
Support the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful deliverables.
Own monthly management reporting, including budget-to-actual variance analysis and business commentary for internal stakeholders.
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, unit economics, pricing strategies, and new initiatives.
Collaborate with the Director of FP&A and department leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and action items based on performance trends.
Work closely with Accounting to support monthly close processes and ensure forecast alignment with actuals.
Partner with the Network Ops team to support clinician planning and recruitment operations, ensuring sound coverage for our clients.
Contribute to strategic and operational analysis that drives decision-making across the business.
Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders including the Board.
Continually improve forecasting accuracy, financial models, and reporting processes using data and automation.
Who you are
4–7 years of progressive FP&A experience in high-growth or technology-enabled organizations.
A strong analytical thinker with proven financial modeling skills (Google Sheets/Excel proficiency required; Netsuite experience preferred)
Effective communicator with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Collaborative and team-oriented; able to build strong relationships across departments.
Organized and detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced, and remote-first environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; advanced degrees and/or certifications (CPA, CFA) are a plus.
Salary and Perks
Pay Range: $135,000 - 183,000 base compensation.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
