About Us:
Osmind is building a revolutionary network to support independent psychiatric practices, particularly those offering innovative treatments like TMS, Spravato, and other interventional modalities. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on RCM leader to build and scale our revenue cycle operations from the ground up, serving as a cornerstone of our services launch in 2025. This role is ideal for a player-coach who can manage daily billing operations while also crafting and executing a forward-thinking roadmap that aligns revenue cycle processes with the company’s long-term goals.
Position Overview:
As Director of RCM, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling best-in-class revenue cycle management operations to support psychiatric practices across the United States. Building on our pilot program foundation, this role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution to develop both onshore and offshore teams focused on maximizing revenue for our provider network while upholding high standards of quality and compliance. A key focus of this role is driving gross margin improvement through AI- and technology-driven initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

This role will be based in the United States with minimal travel required.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & LeadershipDevelop and execute the overall RCM strategy for scaling our RCM services offering beyond the pilot phaseExpand and lead high-performing teams across the U.S. and international locationsSet and monitor KPIs to ensure operational excellence and financial targetsManage vendor relationships and partnershipsOversee team performance and professional development
Operations & Process DesignScale and optimize centralized RCM workflows for complex psychiatric billing—including interventional treatments—by enhancing processes for benefits verification, prior authorization, claims submission, and denials managementRefine quality assurance frameworks and compliance protocols based on pilot learningsImplement industry best practices to ensure clean claims submission and proactively prevent denialsDevelop standard operating procedures and documentation
Technology & SystemsPartner with product/engineering teams to define requirements for RCM technology toolsEvaluate and implement RCM software solutions and automation toolsDrive automation initiatives to improve efficiency
Margin Optimization & Technology IntegrationSupport gross margin improvement as part of the Company's long-term Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) strategy, with a particular focus on AI and technology-driven initiativesCollaborate with the Product and RCM teams to identify and address pain points in current workflowsEvaluate opportunities to optimize operational efficiency and reduce cost through automation or process redesignProvide input on product strategy and roadmap decisions that impact RCM workflowsAdvise on implementation approaches for AI and tech-enabled solutions to improve scalability and margin performance
Financial Performance & AnalyticsSet and achieve revenue cycle performance targetsMonitor key metrics, including clean claim rates, days in AR, and denial ratesDevelop reporting frameworks to track team and financial performanceIdentify opportunities for revenue optimizationProvide regular performance updates to leadershipCompliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing requirements, and stay current with changes in billing rules and regulationsMaintain documentation of policies and proceduresConduct regular audits of billing practices
Client SuccessEnsure high satisfaction levels among provider clientsAct as the escalation point for complex billing issuesBuild relationships with key provider accountsRequired Experience8-10 years of healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) experience, including 5+ years in leadership rolesProven success scaling RCM operations from early-stage environments to full-scale production, including oversight of both U.S.-based and offshore teamsExtensive knowledge of behavioral health billing, with expertise in specialized treatments such as Spravato, TMS, and other interventional modalitiesExperienced in implementing and optimizing RCM technology solutions, including automation and workflow toolsStrong command of healthcare compliance and regulatory standards related to billing and reimbursementDemonstrated ability to drive financial performance through operational excellence and strategic RCM leadershipTrack record of managing large, distributed teams (30+ staff) across multiple locations and time zonesExperience going from zero to one and creating new RCM processesExperience billing in multiple geographiesThis is a unique opportunity to help build a transformative healthcare organization from the ground up while solving critical challenges for psychiatric providers and their patients.
