In partnership with Major League Baseball’s Content Group and the Social Impact Department, we present MLB.com’s Digital Content Fellowship program. This eight-month initiative is designed to attract early career candidates, including recent college graduates to prepare for roles in the Content Department and the baseball industry at-large. Selected applicants will work a full baseball season with the Content team. The fellowship is focused on attracting well-qualified applicants who understand the domestic and international significance of the game, the global makeup of rosters, and a general knowledge of the sport’s cultural impact on communities and fanbases.
The Content Group has oversight of MLB.com, the official site of Major League Baseball, MLB App, and all of MLB’s social media accounts. MLB.com brings you the most up-to-date, informative and exciting baseball information in the industry. Coverage features exclusive interviews, exclusive stories, audio and video clips, and statistics.
The Digital Content Fellowship Program features training, 1:1 mentorship from senior editors/reporters and seeks to create experiential learning opportunities in a professional environment. Some positions will be remote while others could be based in New York City. There will be opportunities for all selected participants to visit the MLB League Office in New York and to network with staff and sit in on meetings with other departments. Fellows will also have an opportunity to assist in the coverage of Spring Training along with MLB jewel events, including the 2026 All-Star Game, Little League Classic, and more.
The eight-month long program begins in March 2026 and continues through mid-November 2026. The deadline for applications is January 15, 2026. Please apply today if interested in being considered.
Selected Fellows will support the below areas of the business:

Why MLB?
Major League Baseball (MLB) is the most historic of the major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada. Employees love working at MLB because of the culture of growth, teamwork, and professionalism. Employees who are most successful at MLB take initiative, know how to identify problems and provide solutions, and always put the Team first. For those ready to step up to the plate and join the major leagues, MLB takes the same approach as teams do with their players: empowering our “workforce athletes” to be at their best by engineering experiences that put employees in the best position to succeed. Major League Baseball is looking for candidates who are passionate about growing America’s pastime to best serve its fans for decades to come.
