What We Do

As part of the Fortnite Creator Ecosystem team, Product Management collaborates with development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to define product strategy informed by data and market insights. The team aims to empower creators to operate as game publishers, with the tools, insights, and support needed to build, launch, grow, and monetize successful games. This work centers on two core areas: enabling a robust creator publishing ecosystem and supporting sustainable creator monetization.

What You'll Do

The Fortnite Developer Portal sits both functionally and technically at the intersection of everything developers need to manage their business within one of the largest creator ecosystems in the world. It is highly visible, deeply interconnected, and constantly evolving. Decisions made here directly shape how creators publish, operate, monetize, and grow on Fortnite. We are seeking a Product Director who can bring clarity, structure, and forward momentum to this complexity — someone who is comfortable owning a highly visible surface with meaningful ecosystem impact. This is a true player/coach role. You will lead product strategy while directly driving critical initiatives yourself. You will set direction in the face of competing priorities, make principled trade-offs that affect multiple partner teams, and represent Fortnite Developer Portal strategy at the executive level.

In this role, you will

• Own the Fortnite Developer Portal strategy and roadmap, creating focus in a fast-evolving, high-demand environment
• Player/coach role, balancing leadership while driving critical initiatives yourself
• Lead and develop the product discipline for the team you lead, raising the bar on craft, accountability, and impact
• Focus the cross functional team by setting clear priorities and making difficult trade-offs, while maintaining trust and collaborative relationships across the organization
• Work closely with engineering, analytics, and teams that work on player-facing experiences to solve complex, interconnected problems and deliver iterative improvements that move the needle for developers
• Establish a clear, measurable view of product performance — defining north stars, strengthening instrumentation, and ensuring decisions are grounded in data
• Operate comfortably at every altitude: presenting to executives while staying close to execution details

• Strong communicator, comfortable representing strategy and trade-offs to executive stakeholders
