NBC 6 South Florida is looking for a content producer for our multiplatform duopoly newsroom. This content producer will work with producers, reporters, anchors and the desk to gather elements and assist in the production of newscasts, news stories and special segments.

• Gather, produce, write, update and edit video news content for our streaming, linear and other platforms.
• Consume and be up-to-date on daily news events, be aware of past events, and understand news in the fast-paced South Florida market.
• Collaborate with newsroom staff to produce newscasts, news segments and other content and place the content on the appropriate platform. 
• Prioritize storytelling that is live, urgent and relevant.
• Ensure all scripts are factually and grammatically accurate. 
• Coordinate and monitor coverage of breaking news, live events, and newscasts on our platforms.   
• Support reporters, anchors and photographers with content needs. 
• Search wires and other partner sources for stories. 
• Serve as show producer and assist in the control room when needed. 
• Create and order pre-production graphics to support our storytelling.
