Job Description

Our Mission
At Big Health, we exist to help millions return to good mental health by delivering fully digital, non-drug treatments for the most common mental health conditions. Our evidence-based programmes, Sleepio for insomnia and Daylight for anxiety, empower people with first-line cognitive and behavioural therapies they can access anytime, anywhere.

In pursuit of this mission, we’ve pioneered the world’s first truly scalable digital therapeutic model, working hand-in-hand with leading healthcare organisations, including Scotland’s NHS, where our solutions are already improving lives across the country. Through science-led product innovation, rigorous clinical evaluation, and a commitment to equitable access, we’re shaping the next generation of medicine and redefining how mental health care is delivered.

Join us as we continue building a healthier future, one that is digital, evidence-driven, and designed for everyone.

Our Vision
Over the next 5-10 years, we believe digital therapeutics will transform the delivery of healthcare worldwide by providing access to safe and effective evidence-based treatments. Big Health is positioned to take the lead in this transformation.

Big Health is a remote-first company, and this role can be based anywhere in the UK.

Join Us
We’re looking for a strategic and creative Content Manager to own and deliver a content programme that guides patients seamlessly through the enrolment journey for our digital treatments. From awareness to decision-making, you’ll create compelling, trustworthy, and empathetic content that answers patients’ questions, addresses barriers, and inspires action.

Working closely with the SEO Manager and wider team, you’ll ensure our content not only resonates with patients but also drives measurable growth in engagement, enrolments, and long-term adherence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute a full-funnel content strategy that supports marketing and communication goals, ensuring the right messages reach patients at the right stage of their journey.
  • Create and manage engaging content across formats (i.e. blogs, guides, FAQs, case studies, patient stories, whitepapers, infographics, videos, social media, email campaigns) to attract, educate, and convert clinicians and patients.
  • Collaborate with the SEO Manager to ensure content is optimised for organic discovery, user intent, and conversion opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, product, and design teams to ensure messaging is aligned, accurate, and patient-focused.
  • Research patient insights and industry trends, translating findings into content that addresses real-world challenges, objections, and motivations.
  • Maintain and oversee an editorial calendar to ensure consistent, high-quality publication across channels.
  • Measure and report on content performance (i.e. engagement, rankings, funnel progression, enrolment conversions) and use insights to refine strategy.
  • Champion storytelling and brand voice, ensuring all content is clear, empathetic, and aligned with our mission to make better mental health support accessible.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of content creation and management experience, ideally within healthcare, digital health, or a highly regulated industry
  • Proven track record of producing content that drives measurable results across the funnel (traffic, engagement, leads, conversions)
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with versatility across formats and tones of voice
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience partnering with SEO specialists
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with both creative and technical teams
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret content analytics and apply insights to improve future campaigns
  • Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and digital publishing tools

  • We at Big Health are on a mission to bring millions back to good mental health, in order to do so, we need to reflect the diversity of those we intend to serve. We’re an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building a culturally and experientially diverse team that leads with empathy and respect.
