ROLE: The ideal candidate will lead a team and manage operations for the Global Lineups Team. They are responsible for the expansion and maintenance of Lineup Data to ensure our stakeholders, both internal and external, are satisfied and can meet their own product deliveries and deadlines. This includes establishing effective communication pathways within the Content organization and to other departments and locations. The Team Leader is responsible for establishing and maintaining high performing quality-focused teams with a positive culture. The role will involve management of team workloads, task assignments, engagement and people management. Other duties include but are not limited to providing support for key accounts and working in close partnership with the Product team during expansion and as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIESProvide leadership for day-to-day operations and customer projects in accordance with established goals and budgets.Develop short-term and long-term goals in support of management objectivesManage and distribute workloads for the team or teams assigned. Prioritize team and individual tasks and delegate accordingly to meet deadlines.Administration duties include, but are not limited to, HR support and payroll, holiday requests, sick leave, overtime, contract renewals, and the interviewing process.Manage the yearly associate goal, review and merit process in full by the required deadlines. Client facing responsibilities including meetings, ad hoc requests and Salesforce tasks.Proactively identify and implement efficiencies to improve workflows within the team/department. Work on internal projects as requiredConduct annual and non-scheduled performance appraisals to provide employees with ongoing feedback on performance. Coordinate efforts with other Gracenote divisions to ensure that joint strategic and operating objectives are met.Perform yearly coverage reviews to ensure the Lineups dataset is meeting the agreed KPI Organize and perform Field Tests for clients on an Ad Hoc basisREQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSMust be a Graduate in any fieldShould be proficient in the English language and possess excellent writing and communication skillsReady to work in a 24/7 operation, including evening and weekend shifts.Proficient MS Excel skill set, with a working knowledge of JSON data interchange and XML transmission processes. Proficiency with Google Suite & MS Office products.Effective organizational, leadership, analytical and communication skills. Must have good time management skills, be able to work under tight deadlines and willing to work outside regular business hours. Windows proficiency and/or experience using other computer software and databases with excellent keyboarding skills. At least one year experience as a team lead.Confidence, and an ability to work in a self-directed and fast-paced environment.The role is hybrid, so you must live near Nielsen’s office.
