Job Description

As an Apparel R&D Manager (12 months) W/M, you’ll be at the heart of our product creation process, translating design and performance ambitions into reality. You will lead and inspire our Apparel Pattern and Development teams from concept to production, ensuring technical excellence, efficiency, and timely delivery.

The key areas of the role will focus on:

  • Lead development and pattern making teams, provide direction, facilitate objective setting, create the conditions of success, deliver regular feedback and ensure engagement and development of the team to help them achieve their professional goals and business targets
  • Supervise complex pattern-making development projects and managing related technical topics
  • Collaborate with design, product marketing, industrialization, suppliers
  • Managing timelines, costs, and feasibility across multiple projects
  • Driving innovation in materials, construction, and performance features
  • Ensuring product quality and compliance with brand standards, collaborating with global teams and external partners to bring best-in-class products to market

Essential Skills & Experiences

  • 10 years technical expertise in Apparel Development, Pattern Making, Manufacturing, and Prototyping process from product ideation to industrialization.
  • Proven experience in people management, managing varied personalities with assertiveness, while allowing your teams to gain in confidence and grow in their careers.
  • You understand the environment we work in interacting with design, marketing, merchandising teams, athletes and external partners in global environments.

  • Languages: English and French fluency

Full-Time Temporary Contract (12 months)

Role based in Annecy, France with some travel in Europe and Asia
