Let’s Start with the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our growing Finance team in São Paulo and specifically our offices in Thessaloniki. This is a great opportunity for professionals who aspire to advance their careers in Accounting by driving financial and accounting efficiency within our scaling organization.

As a Senior Accounting Analyst,  you will:

• Manage and oversee daily operations within the Accounting Department;
• Analyze and evaluate monthly financial results to ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with Group policies;
• Coordinate the annual financial audit, preparing all necessary documentation and overseeing the process from start to finish;
• Collaborate with external stakeholders (e.g. auditors, financial institutions, regulatory bodies) and internal stakeholders (e.g.,tax, accounts payable and treasury teams);
• Deliver ad hoc requests and participate in special projects when requested;
• Support and optimize the existing ERP system by gathering and processing data to generate comprehensive financial reports;
• Provide timely, accurate updates on assigned tasks, financial results, and key issues to leadership.

What you’ll bring: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting;
• A Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, or an ACCA/ACA qualification, is considered as a plus;
• Relevant years of combined financial reporting/accounting within a corporate international environment;
• Experience with formal audit processes;
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel;
• Good knowledge of IFRS standards;
• Previous experience in Microsoft Business Central is considered an asset.
• Highly analytical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions;
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken);
• Strong organizational, planning, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, paired with a strategic and creative mindset;
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, evolving environment and meet tight deadlines.
