About the Team
The Finance team in France plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of our Sportsbook business. We ensure accurate accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with local regulations while collaborating with various departments to maintain financial efficiency. Our objective is to maintain strong financial controls and provide valuable insights that help drive business decisions.
About the Role
This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance within the dynamic Sportsbook industry. As an Accounting Intern, you will support the Finance team in daily operations, ensuring accurate financial records and assisting with key accounting tasks. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of the finance function, and it will provide exposure to financial processes in a fast- paced environment.
What Can You Get Involved In?
- Assisting with invoice processing and ensuring timely payment of suppliers.
- Supporting the reconciliation of bank statements and financial transactions.
- Helping maintain accurate financial records and filing documents as required.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and data entry.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Collaborating with the finance team to improve internal processes.
- Assisting in ad-hoc finance-related tasks and projects.
Requirements
- Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and French.
- Able to dedicate a minimum of 15 to 30 hours per week.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
