OVERVIEW:

This role exists to lead the North American Athlete Marketing Program and oversee the team of Athlete Marketing Associates. This role will build and execute successful strategic partnerships and initiatives that support Gymshark’s goals through Influencer Marketing.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Responsible for:
  • Managing and individually developing a team of Influencer Marketing Associates
  • Building and executing the Influencer Marketing Strategy for the region through bespoke activations, strategic partnerships and impactful campaigns
  • Overseeing the day-to-day of the Program and the team
  • Managing the regional budget set by the Senior Influencer Marketing Manager
  • Building quarterly marketing plans for the regional Influencer Marketing Program
  • Building and overseeing the execution of marketing plans for the brand’s key regional creators
  • Developing the brand’s regional Influencer Marketing Program
  • Ensuring a flawless experience between the Brand and the regional Creators
  • Networking with relevant external partners to grow the brand’s relationships in the space
  • Reporting on the program’s performance using KPI’s set by line manager – these include monitoring social compliance, brand awareness metrics and commercial metrics

Management and Support

  • Supervising a roster of Creators
  • Managing key creators
  • Coordinating brand campaigns implementation through athlete and influencer activations

Collaboration

  • Collaborating with other regions in Athlete Marketing and across teams to execute campaigns
  • Collaborating closely with all the teams in Brand and GTM to ensure Athletes remain at the forefront of the Brand’s plans

ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Building a strong relationship with Creators in the brand and the wider industry through acute knowledge of the space, constant communication, proactive thinking and efficient prioritization
  • Building and executing disruptive and impactful regional activations
  • Growing and maintaining an inclusive roster and network of the most relevant creators
  • Increasing in brand awareness in North America

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Skills:

  • BS or BA
  • 7+ years of experience with a brand or agency in the culture space (sports, entertainment, music, lifestyle)
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of 3+ people
  • A strong network of diverse industry leaders in the cultural space
  • A strong track record of building strategy through industry and consumer insights and aligned with brand goals, all the way through execution
  • Experience in Influencer Marketing and/or Brand Content Creation and Events/Activations
  • An understanding of social media and content marketing
  • An understanding of North America cultural specificities
  • A genuine interest in fitness/conditioning
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently and work in a very fats pace environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, results oriented with an eye for details
  • Have excellent communications and networking skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • The role requires frequent out-of-state travel and regular international travel
  • The role requires flexibility on work-hours
  • The role requires in-office days

This role has a salary range between $100,000-$120,000 annually depending on experience.
