We are currently looking for an Image Collector to join our team for the French market. 

ABOUT THIS JOB

Our France image collector manages rich media related content to the ongoing development and creation of media databases and video content in the audiovisual sphere. The ideal candidate loves watching movies and series, and is familiar and up-to-date with TV listings and the media sector in general. This person will be responsible for performing high-volume, complex manipulations on the entertainment information that forms the core of Gracenote’s media database, with special focus on creating and enhancing top content (series, movies, sports, etc.). As a member of this dynamic and fast-paced team, you will be involved in collecting photos, logos, and other digital assets from publicists, content providers, vendors, and other sources to power Gracenote Products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect photos, logos, and other digital assets from publicists, content providers, vendors, and websites to support Gracenote Products.
  • Review and analyse TV listings and platform information, to effectively create and curate linear and VOD imagery on movies, sports, and shows. 
  • Follow established standards for evaluation and collection of the best images to meet Gracenote size, aspect ratio, and other product requirements.
  • Investigate, confirm, and document questionable content by consulting internal guidelines and other sources such as program producers and distributors.
  • Regularly communicate with processing and other global teams to ensure imagery makes it through the entire process for delivery to customers.
  • Link images to the assigned asset in the Gracenote databases.
  • Initiate, track, and maintain communication with content providers to achieve results.
  • Recommend ways to improve productivity, increase quality, and new ways of filling image gaps.
  • Identify and pursue source candidates for scripted or other automated collection.

  • REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • University degree in a media-related field or equivalent work is a plus.
  • Must have a good eye for images and a desire for high quality.
  • Must demonstrate effective organisational, grammatical, analytical, writing and communication skills.
  • Must have keyboarding skills; Windows proficiency preferred.
  • Must be organised and exhibit strong attention to detail with good multi-tasking ability as well as self-motivation and high energy.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
  • Language requirements: must be fluent in French, preferablynative. Good command of English expected. Fluency in any other European language is a plus.
